2012 Offaly football league results round 1

The 2012 Offaly football leagues kicked off this weekend with 17 games played across the 3 divisions.  Defending league champions Ballycumber didn't get the start they wanted going down 2-8 to 0-5 at the hands of neighbours Clara.  A close encounter with Tubber and St Brigids ended in a 1 point victory for Tubber with Walsh Island havin 2 points to spare over Tullamore.  Rhode and Ferbane both got off to comfortable wins respectively as County champions Edenderry kick off their campaign on Tuesday night against Erin Rovers.  In Division 2 there were wins for Daingean, Gracefield, St Rynaghs, Ballyfore and Rhode with  Bracknagh and Clonbullogue playing out a draw.
