Minor “A” Hurling

St Rynagh’s head the roll of honour with 20 titles, closely foolowed by Birr with 18.  St Rynagh’s hold the record for the number of successive victories in this grade having won six in a row between 1972 and 1977.  2008 winners Coolderry, were late comers to the scene in terms of Minor success but when they arrived they were dominant and won their four titles in a five year spell between 1997 and 2001. 
 
In all 14 clubs have won the Minor title with the most recent name to go on the roll of honour being Shamrocks in 2002.
