“Supporting Our Coaches” – Hurling Workshop Report
The first ‘Supporting Our Coaches’ Hurling Workshop took place last night Wed 31st May in Kilcormac. There was a large turnout of 60 coaches with the same amount of players at U8/U10/U12 level.
John Leahy facilitated the U12 workshop which dealt with jab lift and striking from the hand. Michael Cleary facilitated the U10 work shop which concentrated on striking from the hand and jab lift.
Conor Clancy facilitated the U8 workshop which concentrated on jab lift and striking on the ground. There was very positive interaction and discussion with the club coaches. The evening was completed with refreshments in the clubhouse.
Big thanks to Kilcormac for their fine facilities, refreshments and beautiful sunshine – we will be back if the sunshine is guaranteed.
