Death of Former Offaly Footballer Liam Moran
The death has taken place of former Edenderry and Offaly football goalkeeper Liam Moran.
Liam played 26 times for his County between 1954 & 1958, including 8 Championship appearances and 18 League appearances.
Liam played in Goal in Offaly’s famous win over Louth in the first ever O’Byrne Cup in 1954. He put in a Man of the Match performance in the 0-10 to 1-05 victory.
