Offaly Host Adam Mangan U15 Memorial Tournament This Weekend

Under 15 National Football Tournament
Offaly GAA will host the Adam Mangan Memorial Cup and Shield on Sat 12th Aug. This is the main competition for inter county U15 teams from all over Ireland. Following the sad passing of Adam Mangan, a talented young Footballer for Kilclonfert and Offaly, in October 2015, it was been agreed to name the competition in his honour.
This year’s competition promises to be a feast of football from the up and coming stars from all over Ireland.

Full GAA Rules apply.
All games 15m per half unless stated above. Extra-time in knockout stages 2 x 5 mins. If a draw after extra time, 3 penalties by 3 different players. Only goals count. If still a draw sudden death.
If a player is sent off during the course of a game for two yellow cards, he will miss the rest of the game. If a player is sent off for a straight Red card he is not allowed play in the next game of the tournament. Committee Decision is Final.
Teams equal on points;
2 points awarded for win, 1 point for draw.
In all groups, if teams tie on equal points, then the team which won the head to head game will advance; OR
If the game between the two teams that topped the group was a draw, then the team which conceded the LEAST amount of scores (overall total conceded) will go through. OR
LEAST amount of goals conceded
Between groups, the following shall decide final standings
2 points awarded for win, 1 point for draw.

THE DECISION OF THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE TOURNAMENT IS FINAL.
