DWF Claims have been appointed as the new claims administrators for the GAA Injury Benefit Fund with effect from December 1 2019. This means that DWF Claims will take over all queries, the reporting of all new claims and the handling of existing claims with effect from December 1 2019. To coincide with this momentous change, we have introduced a new logo! Please find attached the 2020 GAA Injury Benefit Fund Summary document.
What does this mean for affiliated units to the Fund?
DWF Claims will take over the handling of all new and existing GAA Injury Benefit Fund claims and queries in relation to the Fund. Willis Towers Watson will no longer deal with any claims or queries.
All existing claims \ correspondence will be transferred over to the new On-Line claims portal. To allow for the transfer, the existing claims portal will be closed down on Wednesday November 27 2019
DWF Claims will issue an email request on Monday December 2 2019 inviting all affiliated units to register for the on-line claims portal. The email will come from: email@example.com
Once an affiliated unit registers for the portal, the unit will have access to all existing claims and will allow for the registration of new claims
To facilitate the transition process, DWF Claims will commence the handling and assessment of claims week commencing Monday December 2 2019
