Well-Known Rhode GAA Duo Take On Mammoth Cycle Challenge
Two well-known local GAA stalwarts are set to take on a mammoth 5 day continuous cycle in aid of the Make-A-Wish foundation and Rhode GAA Club.
All-Ireland medal winner Stephen Darby and former Offaly footballer Paraic Sullivan have joined forces for this challenge, which takes place from 26th to 30th May.
The event will mean that either cyclist will be on the bike for five days straight. They will cycle in six hour sessions, going through the night, in order to raise vital funds for the amazing charity Make-A- Wish Ireland who help create amazing life long memories for children who are sick and battling difficult circumstances.
Furthermore, the money raised will generate funds to help Rhode GAA club to progress and grow and be a continued success. A club that connects the community from young to old and is the focal point of the village and beyond.
