Leinster Football Championship 1st Round – Offaly v Carlow
Offaly’s long-awaited Leinster Senior Football Championship first round fixture versus Carlow takes place on Sunday, 1st November 2020, at 1.30pm.

Despite losing to Tipperary and Derry in the league over the past couple of weekends, Offaly maintained their Division 3 status for 2021 and will hope that home advantage will help them defeat Carlow and set up a quarter-final fixture versus Kildare.
The team selected by John Maughan and his selectors is:
OFFALY: Paddy Dunican (Shamrocks); Declan Hogan (Tullamore), Eoin Rigney (Rhode), Niall Darby (Rhode); Eoin Carroll (Cappincur), Johnny Moloney (Tullamore), Colm Doyle (Clara); Aaron Leavy (Tullamore), Jordan Hayes (Edenderry); Shane Horan (Kilmacud Crokes), Ruairi McNamee (Rhode), Anton Sullivan (Rhode); Niall McNamee (Rhode), Peter Cunningham (Bracknagh), Bernard Allen (Tubber).
Niall McNamee will feature in his 17th senior championship campaign, while his club mate Niall Darby captains the team from corner back. Aaron Leavy of Tullamore is the only championship debutant, however Colm Doyle (Clara) and Jordan Hayes (Edenderry) will start a championship match for Offaly for the first time at this level.
