Offaly Minor & Under 20 Teams Return To Action!
Better (very) late than never!
Three Offaly teams return to championship action this weekend, having been given the green light by the Government with Covid-19 restrictions reduced to Level 3.
The Offaly Under 20 Hurlers and Minor Footballers compete on Saturday, with the Minor Hurlers fixed to play on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately, the games will take place behind closed doors (except for one parent with each minor player). But the good news is that all three matches will be streamed live.
First up on Saturday, the Under 20 hurlers will hope to build on their first round victory over Westmeath when they take on Dublin in St Brendan’s Park, Birr, at 12.00pm. It may be watched via a TG4 stream: https://youtu.be/yftQPo6Zg4E
Meanwhile, in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park at 1.00pm, the minor footballers begin their provincial championship campaign against Wicklow. To watch this match, log on to www.247.tv/gaa
Finally, on Sunday at 12 noon, the minor hurlers travel to Newbridge to take on Kildare. The Faithful County will be hoping to extend their run in the Leinster Championship after a first round defeat of Laois. It will also be streamed live via TG4: https://youtu.be/rHS8pDc6Un0
