Division 3 Football Final Goes Ahead At Croke Park
Fresh from achieving promotion to Division 2 last weekend, Offaly and Derry have agreed to play the Allianz League Division 3 final. It has been fixed for Croke Park this Saturday, 19th June, at 5.00pm.
It will be a welcome opportunity for the Offaly players to line out at Croke Park and also affords them the chance to claim some silverware.
With a tightened schedule this year due to Covid-19, it wasn’t expected that the final would take place as Offaly are due to play Louth in the Leinster senior Football Championship on Sunday, 27th June. However, John Maughan gave them game his blessing once it became aware that GAA HQ would be available.
