Club Hurling Championships Commence This Week
The 2024 Molloy Environmental Systems Offaly Hurling Championships commence this week, with games scheduled at all adult grades.

Supporters are reminded that tickets are not available to purchase at venues, and cash is not accepted. However, season tickets priced at €200 for adults and €100 for senior citizens are still available to purchase via the Co Board office in Glenisk O’Connor Park.
A launch of the Club Hurling Championships was held recently at the Molloy Environmental Systems premises. County Board Chairperson, Michael Duignan thanked Donal Molloy and his colleagues for their long-standing support of Offaly GAA, which he said was very much appreciated and valued. For his part, Donal Molloy said he was delighted to be associated with Offaly GAA and expressed delight at the achievement of the Offaly Under 20 and Senior hurling teams this season.
The opening game of the 2024 Senior Hurling Championship throws-in at Glenisk O’Connor Park on Thursday evening (18th July), where Ballinamere and Birr meet at 7.45pm.
On Friday evening, Tullamore face reigning champions Kilcormac-Killoughey in Banagher at 7.30pm. Then, on Saturday evening, the games down for decision are Kinnitty v Belmont in Rath at 5.45pm, and Coolderry v St Rynagh’s in Birr at 6.00pm. (Shinrone and Seir Kieran have a bye in Round 1).
