Quarter-Finals In Senior Hurling Championship
It’s a make-or-break weekend for a lot of Clubs in Offaly with crunch knock-out games in the Molloy Environmental Systems Club Hurling Championships.
In the Senior grade, reigning champions Kilcormac-Killoughey and fellow table-toppers Ballinamere are already through to the semi-finals.
On Saturday, the first quarter-final pits Birr versus St Rynagh’s at Glenisk O’Connor Park, at 4.30pm. Then, on Sunday, it’s the turn of 2022 champions Shinrone against Coolderry at Grant Heating St Brendan’s Park, with throw-in at 3.30pm.
Both those games will be preceded by semi-finals of the Molloy Environmental Systems Senior B Hurling Championships – Carrig & Riverstown v Clodiagh Gaels at 3pm in Tullamore on Saturday; and Kilcormac-Killoughey v Lusmagh in Birr on Sunday at 2.00pm.
Another game of note at the weekend is the Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final between Drumcullen and St Rynagh’s in Kinnitty on Sunday at 12 noon.
And the first two Club Hurling finals of 2024 are also down for decision.
Ballyskenach-Killavilla play Drumcullen in the Junior C Hurling Championship final at Clareen at 2.00pm on Saturday.
Carrig & Riverstown face Kilcormac-Killoughey in the Junior B Hurling Championship final at Rath at 5.15pm on Sunday.
