When and where did you first start playing hurling? At around 4years old in the yard with my father.

Biggest influence on your hurling career: Parents

What sporting event would you most like to attend? 100m/200m Finals in the Olympics. I love them events.

To date what is your favourite moment in sport? Winning a Leinster with Birr.

Favourite Venue: Thurles

Favourite G.A.A. player: Richie Hogan (current), Vinnie Claffey (ex-player)

What sportsperson would you most like to meet? Usain Bolt

What is the hardest part of your sporting life? The season is way too long. When county ends, the club begins and it’s very difficult to plan anything during this time. Pre-season in Nov-Dec is torture! A more structured calendar is badly needed.

Toughest player to mark in training? Brendan Murphy

Who is the ‘joker’ on the panel? Shane Dooley or Dan Kelleher

If you won the lotto what would be the first thing you would buy?! An Astro Turf Pitch for the new Offaly development centre!!

Favourite holiday destination: Mexico

Favourite Food: Anything the mother makes!!

Favourite Drink: Can’t beat a cup of tae

Favourite Music: Anything from The Mere Mortals or John Denver!

Favourite Film: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

In ten years time I hope to be: Healthy and happy, while still being able to fit into the Birr jersey and a Leinster medal with Offaly in my back pocket!

One thing you may not know about me……
I played senior football for Offaly for 6 years and dual for 2 before I committed solely to hurling with Offaly.
