In a curtain raiser to the Senior Final, Na Fianna and Clara lined out in the Minor Football decider for 2019. In what was a highly entertaining game of football from start to finish Na Fianna in the end despite the best efforts of a strong Clara side collected their first Minor Title.
With no less that 10 County minors on show between the two sides, it was Morgan Tynan and Jacob Beatty who proved to be the decisive cogs in the Na Fianna wheels and lead by example contributing six vital scores between them.
Clara pushed Na Fianna to the pin of their collar and for long spells it looked like they would get a second day out, but in the end it was two late scores from Beatty and Adam Mangan that delivered the Title on a final score line of 0-10 to 0-8.
