Offaly GAA – “Youth S&C Systems for GAA Clubs”
Where? Ferbane GAA Club
When? Wednesday 23rd October – 7pm to 9pm Sharp
Who? All interested coaches, players, parents or administrators that are involved in any GAA Club in Offaly.
Strength and Conditioning for young GAA players can be a confusing area for our youth coaches. What age do you start? What equipment do you need? How do you find the time or the expertise to do it with your squads?
For this reason Offaly Performance GDA David Hare has devised a short and to the point workshop to help clubs undertake some S&C systems with basic equipment in their clubs.
At this workshop we will cover:
- How to start and what equipment you’ll need.
- Why it is important and why it is hugely beneficial for young players.
- How to do great work in only 10 – 20 minutes.
- How to integrate your S&C work with your skill sessions to save time.
And much more…
This will be an interactive workshop that will have all participants engaging and interacting with the instructor, all attendees will also receive access to a resource pack to further aid learning.
