𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
Following the success of our Underage Development Squads parents’ meeting last Monday, the Coaching & Games team, along with the CCC and management committee members, met with all underage coaches from Offaly this evening (U8-Minor). We were delighted to see a fantastic turnout of 250 attendees.
The evening was opened by John Hackett, followed by Denis Hoctor, who provided insights from a CCC perspective. Dean Bracken, Head of Hurling, introduced the Go Games 2025 and the new policy surrounding tournaments, while Nigel, our Head of Football, gave an excellent summary of the new football rules. Both presentations featured QR codes for attendees to access further information.
Carina concluded the evening with a full demonstration of fixture input and output from Servasport, highlighting the efficient running of the Offaly Underage Games Programme. The presentation clearly outlined the fair process from start to finish, with one key reminder: please read the pack before making a call.
The evening wrapped up with Tom Parlon thanking Carina, the committee, the staff, and all 250 volunteer coaches in attendance for their dedication and commitment.
