Allianz League games in both codes will take place next Sunday, 2nd March.
After a thrilling win over Dublin at Croke Park in Round 4, the hurlers will hope to extend their unbeaten run at home to Westmeath at Glenisk O’Connor Park. Throw-in is at 2.00pm.
Following a draw with Carlow in Round 1, Johnny Kelly’s team have followed up with victories over Laois, Antrim and Dublin, so are in contention for promotion to Division 1A for 2026.
It is hoped there will be a big crowd to support the lads on Sunday. Tickets are available in most SuperValu and Centra shops, and also online via this link: OFFALY V WESTMEATH TICKETS
Meanwhile, also on Sunday at 2.00pm, the footballers have another away game, this time travelling to Ballinamore to face Leitrim in Round 5. Offaly were desperately unlucky not to draw with Fermanagh last Sunday, coming after impressive wins over Sligo, Laois and Antrim. So they will be determined to pick up both points and remain in the hunt for promotion.
