🚴‍♂️ Offaly GAA Club & County Fundraising Cycle – Bank Holiday Monday, 3rd August 🚴‍♀️

Offaly GAA is delighted to launch a major Club & County Fundraising Cycle on Bank Holiday Monday, 3rd August.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support both your local club and Offaly GAA, with 50% of all funds raised going directly to your club and 50% going to the county.

The day will conclude with a BBQ and refreshments in Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

We are inviting GAA clubs, Camogie clubs, LGFA clubs, cycling clubs and schools from across the county to get involved.

Participation Details

Participants can take part individually or as part of a relay team.Any type of bicycle can be used, including both self-propelled and battery-powered bikes.

Clubs can nominate as many participants as they wish.

Clubs are encouraged to cover the section of the route that best suits them.

Route 1 – 90km

Starting at Faithful Fields

Faithful Fields → Rath → Kinnitty → Clareen → Crinkle → Birr → Banagher → Cloghan → Ferbane → Clara → Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore

Total Distance: 90km

Route 2 – 90km

Starting at Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore

Tullamore → Cappincur → Ballinagar → Daingean → Croghan → Rhode → Edenderry → Clonbullogue → Bracknagh → Gracefield → Raheen → Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore

Total Distance: 90km

We will endeavour to coordinate the final stages so that cyclists on the last leg of each route can arrive together. We would love to see every club represented at the finish line in their club colours.

With our county teams performing so well, this is a unique and positive opportunity to raise valuable funds for both club and county, while promoting health, fitness and community spirit.
