Offaly GAA Honours Kilcormac Credit Union with Special Anniversary Presentation

Tullamore Credit Union recently marked the fifth anniversary of its Kilcormac office with a special community celebration, bringing together members, staff and local supporters to recognise this important milestone.

Adding to the occasion, the Credit Union was honoured to receive a framed signed Offaly GAA jersey as a gesture of appreciation for its longstanding commitment to supporting Gaelic Games and community initiatives throughout the county.

A special presentation was led by John Hackett, Operations Manager with Offaly GAA, together with County Secretary Padraig O’Meara and Offaly Senior Hurler Killian Sampson, who presented a commemorative jersey to staff and Sean Craven of the Tullamore Credit Union Board of Directors.

The presentation served as a reflection of the strong partnership that has developed between the Credit Union and local GAA communities, particularly in Kilcormac and the surrounding areas. Through sponsorship and support at all levels of the game, Tullamore Credit Union has proudly contributed to the development of local clubs, helping players progress from juvenile ranks through to senior level.

The framed jersey was presented in acknowledgment of the Credit Union’s dedication to the community spirit and supporting organisations that play such an important role in local life. The gesture also provided a fitting way to recognise the success of the Kilcormac office over the past five years and its continued commitment to serving members across the region.

Accepting the presentation on behalf of the Credit Union, Sean Craven expressed his gratitude to Offaly GAA for the thoughtful recognition.

Sean Craven said: “This jersey presentation provided a fitting opportunity to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the transfer of engagement with the Kilcormac office of Tullamore Credit Union. We are proud to invest in and support our local communities and are delighted to see the ongoing progress and success of our Kilcormac branch”

Speaking at the presentation, John Hackett acknowledged the valuable contribution Tullamore Credit Union continues to make to local communities and to the growth of grassroots sport throughout Offaly.

The occasion highlighted the shared values of both organisations, including a commitment to community development, volunteerism and investing in future generations. Tullamore Credit Union looks forward to continuing its support of local GAA clubs and strengthening the relationships that help communities across Offaly thrive.
