Hurling supporters are looking forward to the start of the ‘Molloy Environmental Systems’ Offaly Hurling Championships this weekend.
A launch attended by the main sponsor, Donal Molloy, County Board officials including Chairperson, Tom Parlon, and players from many of the clubs, took place last Saturday morning.
Mr Parlon thanked the Molloy family for their long-standing support of Offaly GAA, which has now extended over two decades. He said their sponsorship has played a big role in the progress of hurling and football in the county.
Mr Donal Molloy said he was delighted their business was associated with Offaly GAA and he wished all the Clubs well in their efforts this season.
First round games in the Senior and Senior ‘B’ Championships take centre stage this weekend, and are played on a ‘home or away’ basis, which should add to the atmosphere. Tickets are available online and please remember that no cash will be accepted at the venues.
