Former Offaly dual star Liam Currums was inducted into the Offaly GAA Hall of Fame at a gala event in the Tullamore Court Hotel on 7 February 2025.
The annual Offaly GAA awards night, which is both sponsored and hosted by the Tullamore Court Hotel, was a memorable occasion with many of the top players in the county being honoured.
Kilcormac native Liam Currums won All-Ireland senior medals with Offaly in 1981 (hurling) and 1982 (football) and is one of a select group of players who won All-Star awards in both codes.
He was presented with his award by County Board Chairperson, Tom Parlon, and Philip O’Brien, managing director of the Tullamore Court Hotel. M.C. for the event was Michael Duignan and the full list of award winners is as follows:
